Awards ceremony is a common thing in the world of international Law Firm. The bar associations or even the press often give an appreciation and acknowledgement to law firms or individual lawyers that are excel in their field. However, this kind of event is relatively rare in Indonesia, and ironically Indonesian law firm would often receive an acknowledgement awards from a foreign association.

In the middle of the scarcity of an award ceremony for law firms in Indonesia, Asian Legal Business (ALB), an institution of legal and business information provider, initiated a prestigious awards ceremony namely “Asian Legal Business Indonesia Law Awards 2016”. As one of the most prestige legal and business information provider in Asia, the Asian Legal Business extensively has been cooperating with the highest level of International law firm around the world. Their work are included, to publish an international project report conducted by these law firm and lawyers, a certain individual lawyers who has been dedicated their life in the legal development, any major legal insight across any multicultural regulation, and certain prestige award provided in each country to any significant law firm which has been professionally support their client business, etc.

The award ceremony are considered and regards as one of the most distinguished event in Indonesia. This event was held at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta on Thursday October 27th 2016, and has a total of 23 awards. The process to determine the winner of the award for each category was decided by an independent jury.
