Mr. Noverizky realized how mining business trully important in the future, without an effective mining legislation that regulates the business between the State and the investors, it will be difficult to manage an important sector such as mining in the future. Mr. Noverizky added if speaking about legislation, one of the important concerns is policy certainty. The change in policy or legislation uncertainty can have debilitating effect on the profitability of any investment because the imbalance between central and regional regulations can hamper the process of mining company to carry out its business activities such as financing transactions for the mining company which potentially disturb the production process for the mining company.
According to Mr. Noverizky, this a wake up call that must be a mandatory policy for the government to take concern in their regulatory framework in Indonesia.
